BASC info on a proposed lead ammo ban.....
https://basc.org.uk/news/
It does cover all types of lead ammo including pellets
I've started a couple of threads on the airgun BBS about it,
The consultation reply to have a say is here, https://consultations.hse.gov.uk/crd-reach/restriction-proposals-004/consultation/intro/
The report the reply references is here,
https://consultations.hse.gov.uk/crd-reach/restriction-proposals-004/supporting_documents/Annex%2015%20restriction%20dossier%20%20lead%20in%20ammunition.pdf
the report conclusions start on page 208.
About the only good news is that "small calibre & airguns" get 5 years "grace" for projectile development.
They specifically say in the report they do not have any info on PB free airgun pellets and ask for anyone with information/experience to reply in the consultation.
Here we go again.
I remember when lead free shot came out for fishing it was twice the size for each shot and triple the price of the lead shot.
When will they just leave us alone.
Time to start buying in bulk for the next 12 months at least that way I have ammo for pest control when called upon.
Regards Kev.
I think that could be a good idea kev ......

Non-toxic shot >:( ...less in a tub and the bloomin stuff fell off or the roach would grab #4s and run ;D
Yup I agree with you and most my customers fetched the leadfree shot back to the shop and did not even want money back.
