Lurk and myself are now working on 2.1.1 smf and i can tell you now its looking pretty cool, I don`t think the upgrade is going to be anytime soon but it`s in the pipeline and like i say work has already started on this new version of smf software.

Sometime`s though smf may offer you the software but its then down to the coders to rip it apart and make it do what we want it to do which is not an easy task sometimes and it also take`s time to do.

But all in all so far i`m happy with the progress so let`s sit it out and wait for the out come,

Download area will not be affected in anyway, but 2.1.1 seems to be having problems atm so no rush as yet to do the upgrade,...it`s now a waiting game again to give everyone time to iron out all the faults.

Work is still going on in the background on 2.1.1 smf forum updated software with Lurk & Myself and now we have a very stable up and running looking great piece of kit,

I don`t think we are going to upgrade anytime soon not until all the Admins agree to this upgrade and then we can all put the plan into place and make it all come together.

Just a member`s update that work is still under going on this newer version of the forum software, So much to re-code to work with this site and all the extra`s need to be re-worked but Lurk and myself are on it like a car bonnet.

Should be great to see the finished version when complete,...But as i say know rush to upgrade as yet and if my good friend Lurk wishes to add a comment on this subject then please do be my guest and give comment on what we are doing at this moment in time regarding upgrading to 2.1.1,


So stay tuned and wait it out until we both think it`s ready to upgrade because it`s coming member`s!
