Title: Expected adjustment range Raw
Post by: Aggy on January 17, 2022, 07:49:32 AM
This is a bit of a hypothetical question As I haven't done it yet but.
Assuming we are running fac and in .22 what kind of fps spread could be expected using only the hammer adjustment ,it's a bit of a faff to adjust the reg.

you do have a fairly wide power band if the reg is set for standard fac.depending of barrel length.but you can adjust via the hammer tension between 26 and 32 ftlbs.main thing is to make sure you are not thrashing the reg

In basic spec.22 the Raw should do 50 ftlb that's enough but would like to take it slightly higher and drop slightly lower just for flexibility,If I need any more than that it's either my Fx impact or rimmy

its when the reg is giving its maximum power but you try and get more from it by uping hammer pre load.you just end up with no extra power but just waist air
