Today after my thirth shot the bold was blocked.
After removing disassembly the bolt, I found a broken cocking dog.
Was wondering if this is a common thing and how is this prevented.
Well theoben has been known to over harden them, this makes them brittle.
So just through normal usage they will break! .
Or they can be damaged by accidently pulling the trigger with the bolt in the open position!
Slamming the Bolt Forward, or slamming into the Cocking Dog!
The only solution is get one made out of a Stronger material!
This makes them less brittle!!
KevG makes his out of Stainless..
I make my Enhanced Cocking Dog out of Grade 5 Titanium!!

Good Luck,
Stuart
it is fairly common, usually it happens when there is an accidental discharge before the bolt is fully forward and locked down.
The dog is hit by the hammer and being hardened /sintered steel it chips, cracks or shatters.
Does someone has the dimensions of the dog, height and other measurements
Mine looked fairly tired too the last time I cleaned the action. I think it's time to look for a spare dog
The standard Theoben Cocking Dog..
.261" high (6.62mm)
.25" across the flats (6.24mm)
