Title: Lightening strikes twice

Called in to see my dad tonight, he loves feeding the garden birds. But he also has pigeons, crows and magpies visiting as well. Looked out and there were crows and magpies sat out, so grabbed his old BSA Lightning .22. First shot took a crow out then next shot a magpie, if I'd had me rapids could have had more. 😎

Nice shooting.
I have had a few early BSA Lightning over the years a very nice lightweight tool.
I was a fan of the gasram in one of mine.

It's seriously snappy to shoot is this one, could do with a smooth out. Certainly different to shooting a PCP!

Yes they are very snappy they were also known to not be reliable with the safety catch also and I have seen a few over the years the barrel once broke have sprung back and became very bent.
