Over in Yorkshire I don't think we are used to the heat that much. During the day I'm ok but it's at night which is the problem, it's just so still and warm even with all the upstairs windows open ......
Im also in south Yorkshire and I know how you feel the nights are bad.

Got back to Barnsley from Cornwall yesterday it's hotter here than it was there ,at least in Cornwall there was a good breeze.
It`s even hotter now thats me going into lock down with the fan in my room until this heat box cool`s down,
not for me this heat,

It has been a tad warm.
Hit 37 degrees on the mezzanine floor in the warehouse yesterday afternoon.
We have half a dozen 30 inch Clarke fans, they were just blowing the hot air down the picking aisles.
Was still 28 degrees at 8am this morning and back up to 35 degrees by 11am.
Back shift will get the brunt of it again as the heat doesn't even begin to drop off until midnight l.

It is a DRY HEAT!!!
We don't see HIGH Humidity on the West Coast of USA!!
It is a different story on the East Coast, where my Sister lives(doctor)
They see 80% humidity @ 90°F....32°C

that's the difference, when I've been fishing in France and Spain its been mid to upper 30s all the time but nowhere near the humidity we get here..
Remember going over (under) via the Chunnel one year , 28 sticky sweaty degrees on our side, come out 30 miles away into 32 degrees and dry enough to feel refreshing
Much cooler now ahhhhhh, much happier all this heat has gone now i can relax and get back up to speed with this site again.
