Hi all,
I'm going to be getting spare bottles as I now have 2 rapids and will be using them away from the home for a week or more.
What I want to know is what can I use for the bottle caps to keep them air tight. I've got one original from when I bought my mk1. Am I right in thinking that it's 1/4bsp thread? Plumbing supplies /hydraulic fittings?
Thanks.
yes 1/4 bsp

Thanks for that 👍
Just ordered 3x stainless steel caps for the grand total of £4.98 delivered :)
Can I have a link please.
If you google Bearing Boys ltd in Norfolk.
Choose the free 5 day delivery, i ordered Monday and received them today. There's no seal in the bottom of the cap, all I done is cut a circle out of a old innertube. No leaks, tryed with a full bottle in the sink with a bottle I know has a leaking valve. 17mm hex instead of 21mm.For that price you can't fault it.
Here's a picture of one fitted and the part number.
