Come on guy`s what hobbies do you lot have i`d love to know as i find hobbie`s a great pass time, I think most of you have seen most of my hobbie`s i`ve posted about this bbs,
Like Ham Radio, even more so the walkie talkie ham radio that will go all round the world, I`ve spoken to so many different countries on my hm walkie takie and home base radio`s.
My main hobbie is computer`s as most will of guessed i don`t really play games on my machines as i mostly like coding on them tbh but that`s not saying i don`t play the odd battlefield that i have installed on my main computer thats geared up for that type of game 💻.
My main hobbie is retro computer`s that i grew up with back in the day when i used to write games for Ocean software in manchester and also Icon design`s in prestwich and i dont even know if them software house`s are still about tbh as i`ve just lost contact with them since my c64 and bbc & spectrum got put into the attic,

Soon i`m stepping into part time retirement but the wife say`s i`ll never do it lol she`s properly right too as i`m so used to working all the time.
But i`m feeling like it`s time to start thinking about me and taking some time out for myself now i`m hitting 52 years old,
I love fishing that`s for sure it`s a great pass time and so relaxing too, and the caravan well that looks great but i`d properly end up bring my bbc micro and start coding a new game or something well into the night like i used to do when i was 15 years of age, Oh where have them years gone :(
please do cary on posting on this thread as i want to see what all our member do as per hobbie`s! 👍

Shaving 8), that was one of my first purchases and holds an unbelievable edge.
Couple of years ago I became hacked off with paying through the nose for disposable razors and tried using an old straight / cut-throat razor I found in an heirloom box.
After a few rather nervous attempts I survived a satisfactory shave, but felt the need for a sharper blade.
I treated myself to a brand new Solingen razor and in the process of asking for advice was also advised to try a vintage razor.
I bought one from the 1930s..then another and another. After buying around a dozen I bought some Japanese water stones to get them shave ready.
Kinda got carried away for a bit, kept buying vintage straights....at £5-10 a pop I wasn't breaking the bank.
Got to be a weekly cycle of purchasing, cleaning, polishing and honing the 'new' blades looking for the perfect shave.
After 15 months I had around 120 razors dating from late Victorian to late 1930s and was only actually shaving with three or four preferred blades with any regularity.
Wasn't just about the daily shave I'd become a collector and obsessive sharpener.
Cashed in on the lockdown ebay boom last year and sold a load for a tidy profit ....which paid for more Rapid gear ;D ;D
Down to a dozen now, nothing rare, ornate or expensive but all capable of holding the edge for daily use.
I'll get into perusing the antique shops again for more if things ever get back to normal.
So many of you like fishing and looking at the size of them things thats me never going swimming in them ponds ever again :D
And as for Daztilley 👍, Well if i ever get locked out my house i know who to call lmao.
