My favourite though was Out of town. Jack Hargreaves. What a wonderful guy. I thank him for getting me into shooting. I met him at the Chatsworth show. I was 16 or 17 I had always fished and had air rifles. I think he was on the NFU stand ( maybe wrong) he treat me like a kindred spirit and spent a couple of hours ( mostly interrupted) talking. Never removing his pipe.

I remember Bill and Ben. Some tv shows are on from that time. Danger man, Callan, and a few more. Callan was quite gritty for its time. I remember the Sweeney was on at 10pm. It's played now at 9am. Appointment with fear. That was my cup of tea,
What about Torchy the battery boy, Four feather falls, Rin Tin Tin and The Littlest Hobo? Got to agree about Jack Hargreaves. There were about 9 dvds made on Out of Town. My daughter bought them for me for a fathers day present a few years ago.
