As i took the rubbish to the tip today i was shocked and utter gob smacked to see a classic radio in the skip - The PRESEDENT LINCON MRK1 RADIO , like WOW!

So what do i do because it cannot stay in the trash with all the zimmers and old bbq`s plus bike`s and old metal pole`s,....So being the person i am,...I asked this young lad who worked there,.........I said can i take the old radio in the skip as its a classic radio and needs better than this skip,......

And do you know what he said to me,........"WHAT IN THE SKIP STAYS IN THE SKIP M8"

I WAS GUTTED TO SEE A OLD CLASSIC SEE IT`S MAKER LIKE THAT,...totally gutted not to have it here with me working or not as one of my hobbie`s is electronic`s and thats was a old classic from the 1980`s,

Why would he have done that,...what`s the big deal if i took it or not,......OR SHOULD I HAVE JUST TAKEN IT AND TOLD NOBODY!

You do know Dr Bob was my CB handle? I had a Sam 2000 at one point.

Well i`m classed as a ham radio person,.....But that being said i do have alot of radio`s in my attic with amp`s or burner`s i think you all called them back in the day!

But i have the Lincon mrk 2 as the old lincon as per tip run is hard to get hold of,...and when i seen it well you can only imagine my thought`s!

What should i have done grabbed it with all them cameras around watching me,...Or do what i did after what that young lad said and just walked away,...But god forbid me it was very hard to walk away from,...right now i keep kicking myself for walking away from that radio!
