I have been taking advice regarding the comments made by Guy Richards. The best advice apart from legal was to expose him. He has several aliases can anybody help?
In the meantime you need to read my reply here https://www.airgunforum.co.uk/community/index.php?threads/the-dr-bob-vendetta-block-a-block-too-far.327522/
I have been working with the mods on there and they are the only forum to be granted "privilege" and on that thread only. This means that if it's repeated anywhere else they can be an accessory for repeating a libellous statement.
Well put DrBob,
You should have put a plug in for this forum your on so they all know how to get hold of you m8 to debate it further.
Even i`m starting to not like that GUY person & i don`t even know the person,...Bit sad to do what he`s done to you tbh but i guess ppl like him need something or someone to screw over to gain satisfaction.
:)
I didn't plug the forum in order to stay on topic. That was a very edited version. It took me days to get the facts right. I have to say the mods on there did a great job looking into it. I originally wanted it removed but he would only pop up somewhere else. So it was agreed that I have my say and it would be locked to stop him altering his post. Give my reply a like if you can.
Bob
Nice One Dr Bob!!
The only way to Expose the lies swirling on the Internet..... Is to fully Expose it!!
I had to find my old login to like your post!!! (Varminter)
When you do Kernal's... Make a left hand action....
Make him shoot it Upside-down!!!!

That Guy from the other forum club sounds like a right BEEP to me,...
But who even does that unless you have a really big issue with that person involved,.....TBH joking apart i would seriously consider taking legal action against him and sue him for damage`s on slander,
On that basis i would also gather all the most important information you can and place it in the hands of your solicitor and tell them to go for the court room because if he lose`s in that room he has to pay all the court of all costs involved, plus you can also sue for damage`s due to slander,......But what i find interesting is has he posted that information on his own forum or has he used someone else`s forum to do the dirty work for him?
Now that`s a very interesting question!
Have a look at this link below regarding slander and what you can do about it,
https://www.carter-ruck.com/media-law-defamation-libel-and-privacy-lawyers/libel-and-slander-faq#What%20is%20slander?
You MUST also make sure the AIRGUNFORUM will not remove that thread if you going to proceed to sue him and also read this below as you have one year to gather information to sue on that basis,
Is there a time limit for bringing proceedings for defamation (libel or slander)?
Yes. You usually must start a claim for libel or slander within one year of the date of publication. In the case of material which continues to be published online, the time will start to run from the date the material was first published.
The time limit is 12 months . And yes a legal opinion has been had hence the wording of my reply. The Airgun Forum have "privilege" regarding it being in print.
You do know the other forum does not display the cookie law that in great britain it`s a legal requirement,...they could come under fire for that!
Read below,
All websites owned in the EU or targeted towards EU citizens, are now expected to comply with the law.
If you own a website, you will need to make sure it complies with the law, and this usually means making some changes.
If you don't comply you risk enforcement action from regulators, which in the UK means The Information Commissioners' Office (ICO). In exceptional cases this can mean a fine.
However, non-compliance could also have other, perhaps more serious consequences than enforcement. There is plenty of evidence that consumers avoid engaging with websites where they believe their privacy is at risk, and there is a general low level of trust about web tracking by the use of cookies.
I`m sorry to say that the other forum does not comply with these laws and could be subject to prosecution under the data prosecution act,
https://www.cps.gov.uk/legal-guidance/data-protection-act-2018-criminal-offences
Apparently Guy is also in breach of his terms and conditions with his sever too regarding his actions.

I've never heard that one before, As the server is just there to place your files to complete a task,.....Where did you get that information from DrBob!
Phil "spuddy" Taylor the owner of the original R7OC
Apparently you need to read the small print.

As i said above,...Has he posted this on his forum or has he only posted it on another forum to do his dirty work for him!?
Not sure on that I won't go on that fake forum any more. The last time I did they had a post up "Vendetta charity raffle" getting rid of one because it's crap in an attempt to rewrite the one we got over £3700.00 for just in case somebody did a search. The mods on the Airgun Forum have been brilliant they thoroughly looked into the post and past posts to get a full picture of what was going on. I sent them my reply prior to posting it and they agreed it would be locked immediately so creative editing could take place.
Bob
Glad to see that the truth has been posted at last.
Especially after a "review" after how many years........
Glad the mods on the AGF supported you, they are a good lot, I really don't envy them their job especially with the number of bumholes that they have to deal with. I think they are all becoming expert proctologists.
It took them a few days. Fortunately one of the mods knew what was going on so they looked into it. The easy way out was just to delete the thread but Iterim Canopy Guy Richards would just pop up to do his keyboard warrior act again .Now his aliases have been found out maybe I should go on LinkedIn and do the same to him??
Not worth lowering yourself, if he continues hit him where it hurts and pursue legal avenues
I have to report back to the powers that be in six weeks. The first part of any legal dispute is to mediate. My reply and stating that my reputation will recover providing no further malicious posts are made is it. I have not asked for a public apology or compensation for loss of income or the lowering of my reputation. Let's just move on.
Bob
I bet his ass is twitching at the moment ;D
