Hello everyone, my question is this:
when the beating mass pushed by the spring is released to hit the valve pin that protrudes 5 millimeters from the back stem of the valve there is a bar beyond which the hammer can not go so as not to hit the valve, causing it to break!.
If there is no stop (safety) to the hammer stroke, how should you adjust so as not to break the pneumatic system?.
Thank you, Greetings to everyone.
if the gun is balanced right it should never do this..

its impossible for the stem to bottom out on the end cap.it would become coil bound first on the stem return spring.what can cause this is to long a stem rear(letting stem open further) standard 12 ftlb hammer pip in conjunction with an over strong hammer spring.

The Rapid in caliber 6.35 set at 65 J.with the two original springs can cause problems?,I saw the gunner after removing the side screw of valve block, loading the bolt and firing the valve to remove it from its housing!,I guess then that the hammer manages to reach and hit it.
Theoben original large exterior spring.
that looks like a standard theoben high power spring.if you fire the valve out on the serries 4 trigger it let's the hammer go to far forward and beyond normal operating conditions and causes it to over travel the trigger sears and can lock up.if it does this you just need to drop the trigger out to free the hammer.
