Here's my .22 MFR. It was sat in a right handed stock when I bought it but I was very lucky to find a nice lefty stock for it within two weeks of purchase. Its since had the full works by Bucket Boy inc his carbon shroud. I fitted a Rowan trigger blade and teardrop bolt handle. It's incredibly accurate using JSB exact RS with a very flat trajectory.
It's so well balanced,a pleasure to use.
I've also got a nicer grained spare lefty stock for it but I can't bring myself to drill it for the QF.
A nice looking mfr.
I have never used one myself to date I like my mk1 to much.
I have a few rapids but I will be building my Vendetta project soon.
Regards kev.
Nice gun, but why would you need a quick fill on a MFR?

Thanks, not as quiet as I'd hoped but it's ok. Saves a lot of weight too
I like that genuine steel shrouds my self and can be made realy quiet with a small add on.when the mfr first came out i didn't like them at all but soon grew on me.

I was like you Kev,didn't really like them but last summer I got the urge to get one and haven't looked back. It originally came with the standard shroud and I added some baffles to the extension.
MFRs are really awesome to shoot mine is in .20 and with a very rare barrel ,it's a tack driver at 45 m .

What barrel is it?
I've been toying with the thought of converting my Mk1 to .20 due to the flatter trajectory than .22 and a bit more stopping power than .177.
I'd been looking to get another Rapid and asking KevG to convert that while he serviced and improved it, but they are very thin on the ground at the moment.
Here is my tyro in .20.
Once you get used to .20 it is a very good cal on the rabbits out to distance.
Regards kev.
I've had two mk1s and a mk2 in .20 and my Raw is .20
