Title: RAW TM1000?
Post by: Pro7dave on January 20, 2021, 05:05:57 PM
OK,  I'm considering buying one very decent rifle and need to do a little homework so looking for a bit of input. Firstly I'm left handed so the second hand market is a bit limited, I only shoot metal squirrels too. So don't need a big shot count. One of the rifles I quite fancy is a RAW tm1000. I know that there are some folks on here that put a lot of effort into working on these so please any input would be greatly received.

I've recently purchased a HM1000 that's been fettled by Bucket Boy and it shoots amazingly well. I haven't shot it much as it has a right handed thumbhole stock and like you I'm left handed,I'm currently making a lefty sporter stock for it and then it'll be my go to rifle

they are good guns and basically a rapid.some of them need re working and attention which should not be needed foe a gun in this price range.

Thanks Kev, I was speaking to Thomas Bristow about his and he said you did a fair few bits to his to get it right. So would I be just aswell starting off with the relevant bits of rapid and reworking from there?
