It must be happening in your area, all the new build taking up all the old land that you used to shoot upon.

As a young lad we used to go to what we called the hillys.
We were known as Brookers due to us living in a small village called Dalton brook.
We all use to have the old catapults in out pockets and some of us had the old Diana sp50 gat gun the one with the push in barrel.
The Hillys were the place to be large wooded areas and plenty of open fields for us to play.
These were the days where you did not lock your house at night and you could buy a lot for a sixpence back then.
All that is there now is a large shopping complex with loads of traffic jams 7 days a week.
Totally gone and flattened to build something I have never gone to yet.
As a Brooker we say gone but never forgotten.
They were the good old days.

Because we are over populated.maybe that's why we have done so bad with the virus.

There's a ton of houses being build a few miles away from me on what I assume was once some common ground.
As kevg suggested I feel we are over populated in the UK but I have no idea on a solution to that issue.

Where I live they're building 225 new houses, it just happens to be right next door to us on brown field land. 225 doesn't seem many but it's 40% of the houses in our little market town. Worst thing is its my shooting friends farm land they're building on. He's in the money, I'd better bite my tongue whilst I'm out shooting with him.  :'(
